A Historic Celebration of God's Faithfulness

Easter 2026 marked a momentous occasion in the life of His Image Ministries International as Prophetess Irene Mudavanhu was ordained during our Easter Convention at the newly built sanctuary at Westlea Dream Centre, Harare. The atmosphere was charged with the presence of God as Apostles, Bishops, Senior Pastors, Evangelists, Elders, and Deacons gathered to celebrate what God has been doing through this precious vessel for decades.

Just as Joseph was raised as a prophet by Jacob, who was raised by Abraham, God continues to raise prophets in every generation. The Word declares in Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." God has not changed His methods—He still speaks through prophets to guide, warn, and encourage His people!

Apostolic Blessing and Laying On of Hands

The ordination service was led by Apostle Pilot Mudavanhu, with participation from Apostle Fundira, Apostle Chiriseri, Evangelist Paul Saungweme, and a host of HIMI Bishops, Senior Pastors, Pastors, Evangelists, Elders, and Deacons. The laying on of hands represented the corporate recognition of what God has already established—Prophetess Irene Mudavanhu has been walking in this calling for decades, and now the church officially affirms what heaven has ordained.

"Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands." — 2 Timothy 1:6

This was not the conferring of a new ministry, but the recognition of a proven ministry that has already borne much fruit. Prophetess Irene Mudavanhu has demonstrated faithfulness, accuracy in prophetic utterance, and a heart fully surrendered to God's purposes. Her ministry has blessed countless believers, bringing encouragement, direction, and divine insight at critical moments.

Bible School Graduations and Sanctuary Fundraising

The Easter Convention was packed with powerful moments beyond the ordination. We celebrated the graduation of students from our Bible School programs, equipping the next generation of ministry leaders with sound doctrine and practical ministry skills. These graduates are prepared to take the gospel to the nations, armed with revelation knowledge and the power of the Holy Spirit!

Additionally, significant progress was announced on the ongoing fundraising for the completion of our sanctuary at Westlea Dream Centre. The beautiful aesthetic works already underway reflect our commitment to creating a fitting place of worship for our King. The congregation responded generously, understanding that sowing into the house of God positions them for supernatural harvest.

"But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully." — 2 Corinthians 9:6

The Prophetic Ministry: God's Voice to This Generation

Why does God raise prophets? Because His people need to hear His voice! In an age of confusion, compromise, and religious tradition, the prophetic voice cuts through the noise and declares, "Thus saith the Lord!" Prophets don't speak their own words—they speak what they hear from heaven. Prophetess Irene Mudavanhu has consistently demonstrated this quality: she speaks only what the Lord gives her to speak.

The ministry of a prophet is not to entertain or to gain popularity. It's to bring God's people into alignment with His will, to warn of dangers ahead, to encourage the weary, and to declare the coming glory. We are blessed to have such a gift operating in our midst!

A Call to Honor God's Gifts

The Bible instructs us to recognize and honor those whom God has set in the church. "Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour" (1 Timothy 5:17). This Easter Convention was our corporate declaration: we honor what God has placed among us. We honor the prophetic voice. We honor the decades of faithful service.

As we look forward, we anticipate even greater manifestations of God's power through Prophetess Irene Mudavanhu's ministry. The ordination is not an end—it's a new beginning. We pray for increased anointing, greater clarity in prophetic vision, and continued faithfulness to the One who called her.

"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ." — Ephesians 4:11-12
