Jesus rules heaven, earth, angels, demons & people
Many try to own everything and rule everyone in the world, but there is only one true Heir: Jesus Christ! In Revelation 10, we see Him as the strong mighty angel, clothed with a cloud and a rainbow upon His head, His face shining bright as the sun and His feet like pillars of fire. This is the ascended, glorified, and enthroned Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
He stands on the earth with His right foot on the sea and His left foot on land, raising His right hand to heaven and holding a scroll (Rev 10:1-2). Jesus rules over all dimensions—heaven and earth, sea and land. In the sea is Tartarus, the prison for demons. In the heavens are fallen angels. On the earth are human beings and demons. Jesus rules over ALL these! No matter what is happening on earth, He is wonderfully prevailing—triumphant, victorious, strong, and mighty!
"Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds."
Hebrews 1:2
The Rainbow, Cloud, and Radiant Face: Mercy and Glory
Jesus is the heavenly Minister in the heavenly tabernacle of God (Heb 8:2). Though His ministry is in heaven, His ministry is here on earth as well—see Him standing on sea and land! It doesn't matter what happens at sea, on land, in the air, or in outer space—Jesus is preeminent (Col 1:18).
The rainbow upon His head speaks of His redeeming blood shed at Calvary and sprinkled on the heavenly mercy seat, thereby obtaining eternal redemption for humanity (Heb 9:12). Jesus is among us right now in the cloud—He has come with mercy and grace for our time of need (Heb 4:16). His face is bright as the sun to take away Satan's darkness, shame, nakedness, poverty, and defeat, replacing it with the brilliance of His glory. Remember, Moses' face was shining because he beheld the face of God (Ex 34:29-30). Jesus is the effulgence of God's glory, the exact representation of the Father (Heb 1:3).
Saint, just behold Jesus in the Scriptures and the serpent's poison will leave your life—just as whoever looked at the brazen serpent in the wilderness didn't die (Num 21:8-9). As we look at Jesus, we are basking in the glory of the Father. As the sun provides vitamin D, initiates photosynthesis, and changes the seasons, inexhaustible supernatural changes take place in our lives as we behold Jesus (2 Cor 3:18). Behold Jesus and you will see the heavenly Father (John 14:9). That vision is all it takes to catapult you into the full knowledge of God's will!
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."
2 Corinthians 3:18
Feet Like Pillars of Fire: Steadfast and Holy
His feet were like pillars of fire (Rev 10:1). Hallelujah! Jesus is steadfast—His feet are pillars. The good work the Lord is doing in your life is irreversible! His feet resemble His accomplished work on earth. He was judged at the cross, taking your sins and judgment upon Himself. His feet are bronze and fire—He is holy. Fire represents holiness and also judgment. He is the righteous Judge of this world (John 5:22). No matter the evil going on in the world, He judges righteously. Evil people will get their reward!
In the past, Jesus created all things (Col 1:16). Presently, He holds all things together according to the power of His word (Heb 1:3). The earth spins on its axis, the sun doesn't melt the earth, the moon doesn't crash into the earth—by His word He sustains your life! Feed on Jesus, eat, drink, and be filled with His Word, and your life will be supernaturally sustained. Whatever is lame, crooked, broken, or dead will be healed. Remember when the axe head fell into the river? Elisha threw a stick into the water and the iron axe head floated (2 Kings 6:6). Friend, as you meditate on Jesus, the lost axe head will float. The lost calling will resurrect. The broken marriage will heal. The sick body will be healed. Poverty will become prosperity. You will succeed in the very same place you failed. Hallelujah! I want to see Jesus!
Faith is perfected by seeing Jesus in the Scriptures. The woman with the issue of blood saw Jesus by revelation, and as she touched Him, her bleeding stopped instantly (Mark 5:29). Friend, see Jesus—that's what you need! Remove your eyes from all else and behold the Lamb of God and the Lion of the tribe of Judah. John was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and he heard, then he saw as he turned around (Rev 1:10-12). May the Lord open your ears today to hear His voice and to see His countenance!
"Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high."
Hebrews 1:3
From Beginning to End: Kiss the Son!
After seing the Lord Jesus in Rev 10 standing on sea and land Rev 11:15 declares: "The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever". Jesus is the heir of all things!
In history, the earth became empty, void, darkness, frozen and upside down when God overthrew Satan for rebelling (Isiah 24:1, Isiah 14, Luke 10;18,Gen 1:2 ). Then in Genesis 1&2, Jesus recreated the earth and the heavens. God used the word "Let" repeatedly. Let is not a creative word. Let is a permissive word. So six days of creation God permitted as he created using his boundaries for example he restricted the sea by telling sand to stop the ocean Job 38:10. Yet in the future the sea will not exist Rev 21:1.
The bible concludes with satan thrown into the lake of fire (Rev 20:10). Thereafter, there is no more satan. At the beginning of Scripture, there was no satan as well. Jesus is the heir of all things! For all beings, regardless of stature, it is time to kiss the Son: "Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him" (Ps 2:12).
🙏 Prayer
Lord Jesus, You are the Heir of all things! You rule over heaven, earth, sea, angels, demons and people. I behold You today—clothed in a cloud, rainbow upon Your head, face bright as the sun, feet like pillars of fire, standing on both land & sea, right hand lifted to heaven and scroll in your hand. As I behold You, I am transformed from glory to glory. I am found. I am healed, restored and victorious. I kiss the Son! Reign in my life forever! Amen.
